About
Engineer, researcher, and writer based in the United Kingdom.

I'm Adeyemi Alabi.
A Power Systems Engineering Consultant, researcher, and startup enthusiast based in the United Kingdom. I currently work at WSP UK, where I deliver technical consulting and strategic advisory services across transmission, distribution, and renewable energy systems.
My work spans power system studies, grid code compliance, HVDC feasibility, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and techno-economic analysis — for clients across the UK and internationally.
Before WSP, I was a Research Associate at Imperial College London, where I developed novel reduced-order models for wind farms as part of the EU Horizon 2020 WinGrid programme.
I'm a Registered Engineer (COREN) and a Member of the IET. I hold a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Covenant University, where I graduated as the best student in my department.
Outside of engineering, I'm deeply interested in AI and data science — and in the startup ecosystem, having co-founded a business and led incubation programmes for early-stage founders in Nigeria. This site is where I write, think out loud, and share what I'm learning.
